Urban Land Reform - Urban Land Mark
Description
To improve secure access to well-located land for the urban poor in South Africa by supporting urban land markets and governance systems to work more effectively. This will help to reduce the number of people living in informal settlements without security of occupancy, help to generate provision of land that can be used productively, assist the development of functioning property markets, and develop tenure of security for the urban poor. This contributes principally towards achieving MDG 7 – “Ensure Environmental Sustainability”.
