The Liberia Reconstruction Trust Fund, phase 3 is a multi-donor funding mechanism organised to address the critical need for the rehabilitation of roads to improve access to services and opportunities throughout Liberia. The project will support part of the Ganta to Tapita road which forms a portion of the regional corridor between Guinea and Cote d'Ivoire. This contributes towards the Millennium Development Goals by improving transportation and trade resulting in an increased economic growth for both rural and urban communities.
