Department for International Development

To improve equitable access to good quality primary and secondary education for all children in Zimbabwe, by providing the education sector as a whole with technical and financial support. This will benefit over 3 million primary school pupils and over nine hundred thousand secondary schools pupils and will support the recovery of education sector from the near collapse in service delivery experienced during the economic crisis period of 2008-9. This contributes to the realisation of Global Goal 4 (all girls and boys complete free, equitable and quality primary and secondary education).
