  • DRC WASH Consortium programme The DRC WASH Consortium programme was launched in July 2013 to deliver sustainable access to water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) for more than 650,000 people living in 700 villages in DRC. Ensuring that these WASH services are sustainable in the long-term is at the heart of the programme’s approach. The consortium consists of five international NGOs, which have been working in the DRC for over 10 years (Concern Worldwide as the lead agency, ACF, ACTED, CRS and Solidarités International).   • Strategic Partnership VEA This partnership between UNICEF and Oxfam aims to improve the quality and sustainability of the implementation of the Villages and Schools Reclamation (PNVEA) National Programme, contributing to the results of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and strengthening the Water Sector, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
