This three-year project is designed to improve the health of 48,000 community members in Napak and Nakapiripirit through improved access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene. A total of 120 boreholes will be constructed or rehabilitated, with households practicing safe sanitation and hygiene, resulting in a decrease in diarrhoeal diseases, especially in children under 5. Women and girls will gain awareness of menstrual hygiene management leading to better health and well-being.
