The project will increase access to improved and sustainable water and sanitation in Nairobi and Kisumu, Kenya, benefiting 30,580 slum dwellers with improved water supply and 13,400 with improved sanitation. This will be achieved by building their capacity to implement and manage infrastructure, promoting greater involvement of the urban poor in basic service delivery and governance, and better collaboration between civil society and infrastructure providers;
