Description

This project will contribute towards reducing poverty and gender inequality for 4,340 young women and household members in 22 rural villages in Umerkot district, Sindh province, Pakistan. Disadvantaged young women will benefit from income generation in traditional embroidery and textile products, much demanded in high-end urban markets, combined with a community-wide strategy to improve women’s empowerment and decision-making capabilities in their communities.;
