Description
This project will support 2,500 of the poorest and most marginalised women (mainly tribal) in rural Nepal. It will work towards improving food security, incomes and self-reliance through the adoption of environmentally sustainable agriculture and will provide access to low-cost credit to establish micro-enterprises. The women and their fellow community members will also be empowered to influence local decision-making processes through community groups established by the project. ;
