This project is increasing access to clean water and adequate sanitation for 26,376 community members and 3,600 children in 63 underserved villages of Uganda. To ensure the benefits of the project are maintained, delivery of water and sanitation facilities is combined with hygiene and sanitation education and the formation and capacity building of 138 Community Based Organisations and 9 School Health Clubs. Beneficiaries are also be trained to lobby for better government services related to water, sanitation and health provisions.
