Trócaire, in partnership with 7 Malawian civil society organisations, will implement a three year food security, income generation and climate change adaptation programme in Southern Malawi, to improve progress towards MDGs 1 and 7. 12,225 households (67,000 people), including 8,509 headed by women, elderly or children, or those infected/affected by HIV, will benefit from greater access to food and income, and improved ability to adapt to and recover from droughts and floods.;
