Description

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) experts seconded to multilateral organisations through the Department of Health and Social Care's Fleming Fund.

The Fleming Fund has seconded antimicrobial resistance (AMR) experts to work within the World Health Organisation (WHO), the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE). These secondees are to lead AMR activity that relates to the Fleming Fund and encourage collaborative working between multilaterals.

Projects funded through Fleming Fund will benefit people in low- and middle-income countries, where the burden of drug resistant infection is greater.
