Recommendations to the drugs policy in Colombia in a post-United Nations General Assembly Special Session scenario to strengthen its effectiveness
Description
The project will deliver an analysis to the Ministry of Justice and the UK of the Colombian drug policy, which will diagnose barriers and opportunities for an effective and integral policy, particularly in light of developments at United Nations General Assembly Special Session 2016. The final document will provide a set of recommendations for the Colombian government around drug policy to strengthen its work, from opportunities for reform under the health and human rights banner, to the necessary reforms to make pre-existing counter-narcotics and organised crime work more effective.
