Description

The project will send 6 Kyrgyz parliamentarians to the UK for engagement with the UK parliament, strengthening ties and promoting the reform of the Kyrgyz Parliamentary system. The visit will further improve inter-parliamentary links and establish a sustained dialogue between the key Kyrgyz and British MPs within the UK-Kyrgyzstan Friendship Group; help Kyrgyz MPs better understand the UK Parliamentary democracy as a possible model for future democratic development and will help to professionalise Kyrgyz MPs.
