Implementing The National Action Plan (Nap) On Business And Human Rights In Colombia
Description
The project will support the implementation of the Colombian National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights, by providing technical support for the government to set up the criteria of how an institutional grievances mechanism should look like. Recommendations for a remedy mechanism for communities affected by businesses operations will be delivered, and three pilots to test how feasible these recommendations are will be implemented. Local public officers will be trained, so they are better equipped to fulfil their duty to protect and remedy
