This programme is supporting Colombia’s efforts to achieve long-term peace by implementing the peace agreement with the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC-EP) and tackling the underlying causes of conflict. We are doing this by working in three areas: (1) Supporting the Government of Colombia to deliver development plans that aim to address the underlying causes of conflict and strengthening the capacity of local leaders to advocate for their communities. (2) Working with security sector institutions and civil society to confront security challenges linked to illicit economies. (3) Supporting dialogue processes and transitional justice mechanisms to ensure that the voices of victims of the conflict, including survivors of sexual violence are included.
