Citizen Engagement and Democracy Support Programme

To increase trust between government and civil society to deliver enhanced state accountability and responsiveness, resulting in better quality public services. The programme supports building the capcity of Civil Society Organisations through provision of grants and capacity building interventions.
UK Caribbean Infrastructure Fund

As announced by the UK government in September 2015, the UK Caribbean Infrastructure Fund will create critical economic infrastructure including: bridges; renewable energy; ports; water; and sea defences that will increase productivity and resilience to natural disasters and climate change. This fund aims to improve economic development in 8 ODA eligible and 1 ODA eligible Overseas Territory by helping to boost growth and creating jobs across the region.
Strengthening disaster resilience in Nepal
UK - Foreign, Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO)
This project will strengthen disaster resilience in Nepal, particularly to earthquakes, by working with urban centres to build and plan more safely; supporting the strengthening of critical public infrastructure to earthquakes; working to strengthen national capacity to respond to crises and ensure that the international community is prepared; and ensuring that the UK is able to support a humanitarian response should a crises hit.
Nepal Local Infrastructure Support Programme (LISP)

The Local Infrastructure Support Programme will improve Nepal’s new local and provincial governments’ delivery of the local infrastructure services demanded by rural citizens to create jobs and drive economic development. LISP will do this by providing technical assistance and performance-based capital funding to improve the delivery and resilience of local infrastructure. It will focus on increasing the legitimacy and accountability of local government to their citizens. LISP will directly support the use of the systems and capacity developed by the sister Provincial and Local Government Support Programme.
The UK’s contribution to the Facility for Refugees in Turkey, FRIT 2
UK - Foreign, Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO)
The Facility will help people who have fled the conflict in Syria and now live in Turkey. Turkey hosts the largest number of refugees in the world, including 3.6 million Syrians. Support will include humanitarian assistance, education, healthcare and employment support. Helping refugees and host communities in the region makes an important contribution to addressing the European refugee crisis. All decisions on programme funding are in line with the UK Aid Strategy.
British Support for Infrastructure Projects (BSIP) (formerly Developing Markets Infrastructure Programme (DMIP)

British Support for Infrastructure Projects will support predominately low and lower middle-income developing country governments procure and finance development-focused infrastructure.
India: Infrastructure Equity Fund - Investment in small infrastructure projects in India's poorest states

To improve access to better quality transport, clean energy and basic urban services for households and businesses, by investing in equity to private sector-led infrastructure projects. This will benefit an estimated 280,000 people with improved infrastructure services.
