It will support national, multilateral and bilateral efforts over the next three to five years to end the cycles of conflict and build lasting peace at local, provincial, national and regional levels in the DRC.
The purpose of this project is to promote stability accross Somalia. This is a flexible adaptable instrument that will develop a portfolio of projects aimed at strengthening local governance and reducing conflict in Somalia.
This programme will work to strengthen voice and accountability for women's rights and young people. It will address the root causes of disadvantage, discrimination and exclusion working with communities, civil society, government institutions and the UN. It will work to shift damaging social norms, attitudes and behaviours at the individual, institutional and societal levels to improve gender equality and youth participation.
To produce research analysis and best practice guidance that will help to inform global policy on how development programming and policy can have the greatest impact on stability and security overseas.
To support delivery of the Recovery and Peacebuilding Assessment for Ukraine through organisations working to promote socioeconomic recovery, rehabilitation and to improve the ability of the Government of Ukraine to respond to the challenge of post-conflict reconstruction. The project will benefit communities affected by the ongoing conflict in eastern Ukraine, particularly internally-displaced persons and host communities to overcome the social and economic consequences of prolonged conflict.
