To support the development of geothermal energy in Montserrat, by undertaking the exploratory drilling and testing of 3 geothermal wells.

Digitise Paper CRO and Finger Print Records on Montserrat to enable a full exchange of criminal convictions with the other OTs and the UK, allowing the UK to ensure holders of British passports with convictions are identified
This project will provide much needed support to the Prison Superintendent to implement change, as a result of the Prison Advisor visit, to move the prison toward acceptable international standards.
The Scientific Advisory Committee members visit Montserrat once a year to carry out a risk analysis associated with the active volcano. This budget is to pay for their professional fees and expenses for this year's visit.
Support to criminal justice and law enforcement in Montserrat to improve child safeguarding capabilities.
To support the provision of public services to meet the reasonable assistance needs of the people of Montserrat, including health, education and securing air and sea access, given that Montserrat is not yet self-sufficient. This is in line with the 2012 Overseas Territories White Paper and consistent with relevant elements of UK’s Aid Strategy and DFID’s 2015-2020 Single Departmental Plan.
Assistance in line with UK objectives on Chevening Scholarships in Montserrat which enables students to pursue postgraduate study at UK higher education institutions, returning to contribute to the development of their home country
