Description
To increase British young people’s knowledge of key international development issues whilst building the skills (e.g. entrepreneurial and communication skills) and attitudes (e.g. mutual respect for and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs) that help them to live and work in a globalised economy; To improve the understanding amongst young people in the UK and abroad of the importance of UK aid to developing countries in contributing to sustainable economic growth and poverty reduction; and To build solid partnerships between schools in the UK and those in developing countries, in order to impact positively on both education systems and increase mutual respect and awareness.
